The Cemetery Division is responsible for maintenance
of three cemeteries with 11,966 cemetery lots, as well
as grave openings, and selling of cemetery lots. Cox Cemetery
is located at Eisenhower Road and Highway 37, IOOF Cemetery
is located on Highway 37 at the north City limits, and
Oakdale Cemetery is located at Sycamore Street and Oakdale
Lane. Guidelines for the cemeteries are located in our
Cemetery
Handbook.
Burial registers for Cox, IOOF, and Oakdale Cemeteries
can be accessed below. Please note Windows Office XP is
required to open these files. Due to the size of these
files, dial up is not recommended; information can be
obtained by calling 417-235-3763. The burial registers
were last updated December 18, 2007.
