The Monett City business licenses are handled by the Administration Office, 217 5th Street, Monett, Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Every person dealing as a business shall pay an annual license fee:

1)	For a business who carries a stock that has an assessment value of $1,000 or less	$ 15.00
2)	For a business who carries a stock that has an assessment value of more than $1,000 and less than $2,500	$ 20.00
3)	For a business who carries a stock that has an assessment value of $2,500 or more	$ 25.00

4)	Auctioneers - any person who acts as an auctioneer and who maintains a business office within the city	$ 15.00
5)	Automobile Dealers	$ 15.00
6)	Bakeries	$ 15.00
7)	City Directory Agents	$ 25.00
8)	Drays or transfer business - any person engaging in draying or transferring goods with a motor vehicle within the city	$ 15.00
9)	Flour Mills and Grain Elevators	$ 15.00
10)	Gasoline Filling Stations	$ 15.00
11)	Hotels and Motels	$ 15.00
12)	Insurance Agents	$ 15.00
