2022 Mowing Bids
REQUEST FOR BID FOR MOWING SERVICES
The City of Monett is accepting bids for mowing services. These services shall include, but not limited to, mowing of nuisance properties for the City’s Property Maintenance Department and mowing of certain city-owned properties such as the Monett Justice Center, water and wastewater treatment Plants, Career Center Building, Community Safe Room, City Hall and City well houses. Interested person should submit a bid in writing to the City Clerk’s office located at 217 5th Street, Monett, Mo 65708. Bids shall be submitted on a per hour basis for mowing (trimming/weed eating included). The successful bidder and the City shall meet and establish a mowing schedule and determine the number of hours necessary to mow each of the properties. The bidders are solely responsible for the provision of all necessary equipment, fuel, and maintenance and repairs. Bidders shall provide their name, business name (if applicable), contact information, bid amount per hour, and a certificate of insurance no later than 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2022.
Insurance requirements:
Bodily Injury & Property Damage $1,000,000 combined single limit per occurrence
$2,000,000 annual aggregate
Fire Damage Liability $ 100,000
Medical Payments $ 5,000
