National Public Works Week - 2024
Monett Mayor Randy Burke and the Monett City Council's Darren Indovina and Ken Gaspar proclaimed May 19 through May 25 Monett Public Works Week in recognition of the hard work and dedication of the city's Public Works Department.
The Council, City Administrator Chris Weiner and Public Works Director Dave Dunn invited the community to the City's Public Works Day scheduled for noon to 2 p.m. Friday, May 24 at the city road barn on 594 17th St in Monett. 24 Public Works Day - Schools Flyer
Public Works Day is an event designed for local youngsters from preschool to third grade who love to see the city's big machines. Equipment of all kinds, including loaders, dump trucks and tractors will be available in a safe, static display so kids can get an up-close and maybe even a hands-on look.
