Civic Ready - Mass Notification System

We want to make sure the citizens of the City of Monett are safe and informed. The CivicReady mass notification solution is a communication service to receive emergency, routine, and utility notifications. You have the ability to customize your notification preferences in your profile. Communication can be received through email, phone call and text messages based on your selections and the address location(s) that you specify. The information you provide is confidential and will not be shared. We will contact you through CivicReady in the event of an emergency or other routine event based on your subscription preferences. Please provide your address and preferred method(s) of contact.

Adding your address will allow tailoring so you do not receive alerts that don’t pertain to your geographical area (such as power outages, water leaks, holiday trash day, etc.).
Examples of Emergency Notifications: Missing Persons, Evacuations, Local Threats, Severe Weather Alerts, Incidents that Require Rapid Communication, etc.
Examples of Notifications: Community Events, Community Services (City Wide Cleanup, Leaf Pickup, Brush Pickup), Utility Notifications (Power Outage, Delinquent Utility Bills, Utility Work, Water Leaks), Public Works (Road Closure, Road Work) etc.

Examples of Weather Notifications (provided by the National Weather Service per address provided): Flood Watch, Heat Advisory, Ice Storm Warning, Severe Thunderstorm Watch, Tornado Warning, etc.
