SEALED BIDS for construction of Wellhouse, well #22, Monett, Missouri, will be received by the City of Monett, 
City Clerk, City Hall, 217 5th Street, Monett, Missouri 65708 until 2:00 P.M. D.S.T, May 17, 2023, and then publicly 
opened and read aloud in the City Hall, 217 5th Street, Monett, Missouri.
The proposed work includes: Construction of masonry block building with roof, doors, wall block outs, guttering and 
incidentals. Construction activities shall comply with the project documents and City standard specifications as shown 
on the City of Monett website.
Digital and paper copies of the plans, specifications and proposal forms may be obtained from the office of Sprenkle 
Engineering Services, LLC, City Hall, 217 5th St., Monett, MO, (417) 236-8025 or by email request. 
Copies of the plans and specifications are on file and may be examined at the City Engineers office, 217 5th St., Monett, 
MO.
Bidders with questions concerning this invitation may contact Kevin Sprenkle, P.E., City Hall, 217 5th St., Monett, 
MO 65708 (417) 236-8025 or at ksprenkle@sprenkle.com. The Bidder may submit electronic pdf bids to the project 
engineer at least one hour prior to the scheduled bid opening.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor defects or to reject any or all bids and to readvertise 
and to rebid.
All materials for the project shall be tax exempt. The City of Monett shall provide the concrete slab for construction 
of the above ground masonry wellhouse. 
Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount of five percent (5%) of his/her base bid. A 
Certificate of Insurance, Performance and Payment Bonds shall be required by the successfully awarded project 
Bidder.
The project shall have a 60 consecutive calendar day construction time of completion from Notice to Proceed date.
Prevailing Wage Rate requirements shall be in accordance with RSMO Chapter 290.230 and as stipulated under HB 
1729. The project location is in Lawrence County.
No Bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) consecutive calendar days after the actual date of the opening 
thereof.
